    please help me

tell me your conected TH8RS witch whell Fnatec?

    • r0gu3 says:

      Hi , Nikolay,

I use normal USB , however if you want to connect it direct to your Fanatec wheel. you need to google “interfaceone” and buy an adapter from him, he sells a very good adapter that you can use to connect TH8RS directly to the fanatac wheel.

      cheers

Hi, I have a FREX Shift+ and I cannot seem to get it to work with my CSR Elite wheel. I did have a fanatec sequential shifter however I broke one of the cables and ended up completely ruining the PS/2 port when trying to fix it. I have instead cut open the PS/2 cable used for the shifter, and have managed to get the ground correct, and downshift… but upshift just fails to work. Could you possibly help me? I’m completely lost!

Marcus, can you tell me where you ordered the blank button box that you used to create you customized one?

  4. Jeremiah "GR8FIRE" Perry says:

I see you have updated to the CSR shifter set. I will pay you $30 for your old Porshe Shifter set. Please…

    • r0gu3 says:

That is not a CSR shifter, Jeremiah. it’s Th8RS. however I have given the old Porsche shifter away quite a while ago.

    Hi,

Did you construct a under seat mount for buttkicker in the end?

I am thinking of adding one to my HR Chassis so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    • r0gu3 says:

      Hi Barry,
no I haven’t had a chance yet to construct an under seat mounting , however I believe the best way to mount a buttkicker is by creating a wooden base (which im planning to do in the near future)
with the shape of the HR chassis and mount the BK on that base.
      Cheers.

Hello, I have a ARC handbrake which is not supposed to be used on PS3. It does already have a USB connection but doesn’t function at all on ps3. I was wondering if there is a way that you knew of that I woul be able to wire it up to my Cthulhu board I am using for my button box on ps3. Thanks for your help.

    • r0gu3 says:

      Hi Nickson,
Sorry about the late reply buddy,
if your arc handbrake have 2 wires , then yes, you can wire one to the cthulu GROUND and one to either “O” or any data points and it should work.
I wired my frexes this way.

LOL matt, I just read this now- so sorry for the very late reply , it was flagged as spam and I never actually saw this until now that im checking the flagged folder.
you can comeby anytime mate, but now that you going with the 8020 I have a feeling it is much better than this chassis.

    • Matt Dignam says:

Haha, yeah man. It wasn’t until the day after we met at Nic’s place that I realised you were the same guy I contacted back then, lol. I loved the GT Chassis, largely because I read your review several times and it inspired me to go all out with a sim rig. Your review was awesome and I love the colour you chose too. It’s definitely the cleanest, best looking frame going.

Would still like to come by sometime and check it out, sounds like you’ve really amped it up since then with extra goodies. I plan on ordering all my 8020 by the end of the week, can’t wait!

      • r0gu3 says:

yeah man, absolutely welcomed – I’ll arrange the time when Im a bit free from the group whatsapp chat- get you Nic and Fred over one evening.

    Hi Marcus,
Just at the start of a wheel plate build for my accuforce.
I have purchased the BBI-32 button box interface from leo bodner.
From looking at what you have done it is possible to have all earth wires from buttons on the wheel connected to the one pole in the din cable is this correct?
My plan is to have the BBI-32 in a button box and have the wheel connected via din cable to the button box so wheel and box are only working as one controller.
by reading how you went with the soldiering it will be a lot easier using a 15 core coil cable than a 24.
    Look forward to your reply
    Regards
    Jay Normoyle

    • r0gu3 says:

      Hi Jay,
Yes the ground cable can be wired into one and used the din to connect to bbi32.

I use a 15 pins connector because the wire that I had only have 16 wires in them.
      Regards,
      Marcus

Thanks Marcus for the quick response! If you dont mind if I come into any difficulties i will contact you for advice? Thanks

Hey Marcus, hope you’re well. Great blog!!

I recently watched your videos on YouTube, and saw one where you have a lens on the wheel/FOV and one on your pedals, it’s perfectly synced within the videos.

I saw this setup and thought it might be a great way for my coach to monitor my practice on the sim.

May I ask what cameras and software you used to make this sort of video? I think it’s at spa driving a Z4.

    All the very best!
